Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire 📍
Salary: £36,180 per annum (estimated — based on 160 hours per month plus 11 sleep-ins per month)
Hourly Rate: £15.75 per hour, plus £5 per hour overtime rate
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 160 hours per month (full time)
Sleep-ins: £45 per sleep-in
Service: Children's Home 🏡
Service Users: Young people aged 8–17 with EBD
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children's & Young People's Workforce
Experience Required: Experience within children's residential care
Who we are looking for: A confident senior who can lead from the front — directing and supporting colleagues on shift, conducting staff supervisions, and stepping up to run the home in the absence of the Deputy or Registered Manager. You will take responsibility for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of the young people in the home, and for health and safety within it, including implementing and monitoring risk assessments. You will also support new colleagues through their induction.
Day to day, you will be helping young people to maintain their hobbies, friendships and social activities, learn new skills, and access opportunities that help them reach their potential. 💫
