Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Middlesbrough
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: No less than 37 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £16.60
Sleep-ins: 4 to 6 per month, paid at £60 per sleep
Waking Nights: 3 to 4 per month, paid at £17.60 per hour
Service: Children’s Residential Home (Learning Disabilities)
Number of Beds: 3
Location: Middlesbrough
Service Users: Children and young people with Learning Disabilities
Staffing Ratio: 1:1 support

Qualifications & Experience:
Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare
Minimum of 1 year experience working in residential childcare – preferred
Full UK driving licence
Understanding of legislation surrounding residential childcare
Willingness to engage in personal care
Key Skills & Attributes:
Empathy and a child-centred approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to follow guidance and work under direction
Confident in managing challenging behaviour
Comfortable working in a trauma-informed way
Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
Willing to learn and develop professionally
Able to complete accurate documentation and reports
IT literate or willing to be trained
