📍 Location: New Romney, Kent
💷 Salary: £33,531 - £36,360 (Inc. sleep-ins)
⏰ Working Hours: Full-time, shifts including sleep-ins
🛏️ Number of Sleeps Required: As per rota
💵 Pay Per Sleep: £50 per night
🏠 Service: Children’s Home
👧🧒 Service Users: YPs aged 10–18 | SEMH, Complex Needs, Trauma
🎓 Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce
📅 Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years residential childcare experience
📄 Employment Type: Permanent
Type of YPs: Children and young people with SEMH, trauma, and complex needs
Ratio of staff to children: High staffing to meet individual needs
Experienced, caring, and committed Senior Residential Support Worker
Age 22+ to meet Ofsted regulations
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce
Minimum 2 years experience working in residential childcare with children/YPs
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Leadership experience: staff supervision, rota management, risk assessments, policies, placement plans, and educational support
Ability to build positive, long-term relationships with children
Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)
Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications

⚠️ Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
£50 per sleep-in
“Passport to Manage” training – achieve Level 5 for management progression
Ofsted outcome bonuses: £100 for ‘Good’, £200 for ‘Outstanding’
Service awards: £200 (2 years), £400 (5 years), £600 (10 years)
Up to £500 special recognition award for outstanding practice
224 hours holiday, increasing to 248 hours after 4 years
