Job Description

Senior Residential Children’s Practitioner | 10258 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week – including on call and sleep in, evenings and weekends, as required) | £39,862 to £41,771 per annum | Grade J | Easthills, Norwich

Easthills Children’s Home provides short break care for young people (male and female) aged 10–17 who are on the edge of care. We are seeking a full‑time Senior Residential Children’s Practitioner to support and assist the Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home.

In this role, you will supervise staff, support their professional development, and contribute to creating a safe, nurturing environment for young people. You will also be required to take part in on‑call duties and work occasional weekends.

Ideally, you will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or be working toward it) and have experience within a children’s residential setting or experience of working directly with young people.

You will be joining a highly motivated and enthusiastic team committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

To succeed in this environment, you must be committed, reliable, and passionate about supporting young people. Strong communication skills, positive interpersonal relationships, and high professional standards are essential.
