We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Slough to assist with the appointment of a Senior Resident Involvement Officer, on a 7-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £21.22 - £27.97 per hour

Hours Per Week: 22.25

A Senior Resident Involvement Officer is required to lead resident involvement and engagement across the Council's Housing Service. The role will deputise for the Resident Involvement Manager, support the administration of the Resident Board, and ensure resident engagement meets regulatory requirements and contributes to demonstrable service improvements.

You will promote co-production and co-regulation, ensuring residents have a meaningful role in shaping, scrutinising and improving housing services. You will work closely with Housing teams, senior leaders, elected members, Council departments, residents and external stakeholders to deliver the Resident Involvement Strategy and action plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the Resident Involvement Manager and attend meetings on their behalf when required.
  • Lead the implementation of the Resident Involvement Strategy and action plan.
  • Manage and support an officer responsible for administering the Resident Board.
  • Lead resident engagement and consultation across the Housing Service.
  • Empower residents to co-create, co-regulate and scrutinise service delivery and performance.

Essentials:

  • Experience of leading resident involvement, tenant engagement or customer engagement within a housing or local authority environment.
  • Strong knowledge of co-production, co-regulation and resident engagement approaches.
  • Experience of working with residents and stakeholders to influence and deliver service improvements.
  • Experience of monitoring and evaluating engagement activities and demonstrating measurable impact.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relating to resident involvement and the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards.

  • This role requires a Standard DBS
