Our Client:
Our client is a leading upstream oil and gas company focused on acquiring, developing, and optimizing oil and gas assets across multiple basins. The company is backed by top-tier investors and maintains a high-performance culture grounded in collaboration, integrity, and technical excellence.
The Role:
This individual will lead the evaluation of reserves and resources across a diverse portfolio of assets, supporting corporate strategy and development planning. The position reports to senior leadership and collaborates cross-functionally with technical and financial teams.
• Prepare, maintain, and audit corporate reserves in accordance with SEC and SPE-PRMS standards.
• Perform decline curve analysis, volumetric calculations, and type curve modeling using Aries.
• Conduct economic evaluations and scenario modeling to support A&D and capital planning.
• Collaborate with geoscience and operations teams to ensure accurate reserves integration.
• Support third-party audits and prepare technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor asset performance and recommend development strategies to maximize value.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of oil and gas engineering experience, focused on reserves evaluation.
• Proficient in Aries and experienced in economic and technical reserves modeling.
