The main objectives of the NLA are to conduct multidisciplinary basic and/or applied scientific research in the life sciences, energy, interdisciplinary and other fields of science, as well as activities to establish scientific laboratory, experimental bases, centers, institutes for the development and implementation of scientific, scientific and technical, educational programs and training of specialists.
- Supervises a group of employees in the research of independent topics, as well as developments that are a part (section, stage) of the topic, or conducts research and development as an executor of the most complex and responsible work;
- develops plans and methodological programs for research and development;
- organizes the collection and study of scientific and technical information on the topic, conducts analysis and theoretical generalization of scientific data, results of experiments and observations;
- checks the accuracy of the results obtained by the staff working under his supervision; - participates in the professional development of staff; - implements the results of conducted research and development;
- publishes scientific works (monographs, articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, conference proceedings, thematic collections) based on the results of his/her work;
- actively participates in scientific seminars, makes both original reports and review reports on the research topics of his/her supervised employees;
- regularly reports the results of his/her work at scientific meetings, conferences and scientific councils;
- actively participates in the organization of scientific meetings, schools and conferences held by the Institution.
At least 10 years of experience in the field of scientific research. If you have a PhD, MD or PhD degree, at least 5 years of work experience in the field of scientific research.
Higher professional education in the direction of scientific laboratory activity. Understanding the biochemical, metabolic processes and molecular, cellular, tissue, organ levels of organization of living organisms, including normal and pathological conditions. Understanding the basis of cancer and tumor progression, signaling processes, the role of energy and metabolism in oncological pathology, DNA damage, drug resistance, studying the mechanisms underlying cancer for a deep understanding of tumor biology.
Presence of scientific papers and publications in foreign scientific publications with impact factor and reports at international conferences or invention certificates. Presence of H - index. Application of biochemical, molecular and cellular technologies, preclinical and clinical research.
Professional competence, highly motivated, ability to solve problems independently, creative thinking.
Fluent English is required, good command in Kazakh and/or Russian.
