About the Role



We’re looking for a Senior Security Researcher to join our Security Research Labs team. In this role, you’ll lead research into emerging cyber threats, design innovative defense mechanisms, and guide global teams to implement robust protections. Your work will directly influence CUJO AI’s ability to secure IoT ecosystems and stay ahead of adversaries —powered by big data analysis and advanced threat intelligence.

The compensation package is from 5000 EUR to 6000 EUR (gross), depending on your experience.

In This Role, You Will:

• Drive research and implementation of advanced cybersecurity defense mechanisms.
• Analyze emerging threats, attacker methodologies, and malware to develop actionable insights.
• Identify new threat TTPs and signatures and produce primary research.
• Build rapid proof-of-concept prototypes and collaborate with firmware and ML teams to integrate detection and protection mechanisms.
• Leverage big data analysis to normalize and interpret large, often unstructured datasets for threat detection and prediction.
• Develop tools, techniques, and countermeasures to mitigate evolving attack vectors.
• Contribute to the infosec community through papers, blogs, and presentations.
• Collect and analyze commercial and open-source intelligence for threat tracking.
• Predict and extrapolate attack trends ahead of occurrence.
• Support CUJO AI’s marketing and PR efforts with real-time breach and attack analysis.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity research, vulnerability analysis, and threat intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of adversarial tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience developing research infrastructure and tools in Python.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and network defense technologies.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning about new threats and countermeasures.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Expertise in IoT security and behavioral analytics.
• Ability to research and prototype security solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in big data analysis, including the ability to normalize and interpret large, unstructured datasets for threat detection and prediction.
• Experience with AWS managed services.
