Responsibilities
Perform Research and Development (R&D) of Machine Learning (ML) systems, including heterogeneous computing architecture, management, monitoring, and deployment of the ML system, distributed task scheduling, ML training, ML inference, scenario driven, cross layer optimization of system and AI algorithms, hardware for ML including GPU, FPGA, and ASIC.
Perform R&D in speech and audio, multimodal processing (audio, vision, and text), natural language processing and deep learning.
Conduct cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing and human-computer interaction technology.
Conduct R&D of technologies on ML fairness and AI ethics for products, including ML interpretability, robustness, and privacy.
Perform theoretical analysis on ML-based models and conduct large-scale simulations and verify the correctness and practicability of proposed models.
Participate in developing core systems and algorithms.
Draft technical contributions, patent applications and academic papers.
Mentor junior research scientists and interns.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $244800 - $450000 annually.
