BeOne is growing rapidly, and we are looking for passionate scientists who enjoy hands-on experimental research and are motivated to contribute to the development of innovative cell therapies. Our induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) platform development team focuses on building robust differentiation technologies for engineered immune cells to support next-generation cancer therapies. We welcome candidates who are curious, proactive, and excited about translating scientific ideas into meaningful therapeutic advances.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced scientists across multiple functions and actively participate in the development and optimization of iPSC-derived immune cell differentiation platforms and functional characterization studies. You will be part of a collaborative research environment where teamwork and scientific exchange are strongly encouraged, and where your experimental contributions directly support the advancement of cell therapy programs. This position also provides a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to the broader drug development process, from early-stage research through preclinical development, while working alongside colleagues dedicated to bringing new therapies to patients.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

1. Strategic R&D and Design: Design, optimize, and implement novel strategies for iPSC differentiation. Align research plans with the company’s long-term strategic goals and therapeutic objectives.

2. Technical Leadership and Problem Solving: Identify key variables in complex technical failures and implement systematic verification mechanisms. Take full responsibility for troubleshooting at a high level and extracting actionable insights from data to guide decision-making.

3. Project Leadership and Strategic Communication: Lead the development of research projects and strategic planning. Facilitate seamless communication within the team and with external stakeholders, ensuring all outputs are strictly aligned with team goals and project milestones.

4. Scientific Guidance: Provide technical mentorship to team members, focusing on enhancing their skills and capabilities. Adapt and streamline workflows to effectively meet evolving project timelines and objectives. Demonstrate the potential for team leadership and cross-functional project management.

Qualification Required:

Requirements & Technical Skills

• Education & Experience: A Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a related field is required, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

• Core Competencies: In-depth understanding of cell therapy and immunotherapy principles. Proven track record in independent research and experimental design.

• Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance scientific rigor with business objectives, adapting research priorities to meet market and project milestones.

Working Conditions & Accountability

• Weekend Duty: Willingness to participate in rotating weekend schedules for critical cell culture tasks. Compensatory leave will be provided for weekend shifts..
