Job Description

Location: Chennai

• Product & Process Development for Animal Nutrition Industry by following the Product Innovation Process (PIP) of the company.
• Publication of scientific and technical articles in Kemin database and scientific journals
• Collaboration with researchers in academic institution and close interaction with customer with customers will be part of the work occasionally.

• Work Environment: Business Office

Responsibilities

Specific

• Carry out experiments as per the direction of the research manager by following the Product Innovation Process (PIP) of Kemin.
• Develop and validate new protocols for laboratory research
• Carry out literature search and identify appropriate methods for conducting research
• Contribute to writing research reports and presentations
• Assist in writing of technical articles based on the research finding on a timely basis for internal and external publications
• Gain knowledge about animal nutrition and health and submit ideas for new product development.

General

• Maintain accurate and up to date records of all research activities in laboratory note books and other forms as required.
• Conduct all research activities with strict adherence to the health and safety policies of the company.
• Carry out research activities with high scientific and personal integrity and also by following good scientific and laboratory practices.
• Protect all confidential information such as formulations, trade secrets and other commercially sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Master degree in science with specialization in Microbiology/Biotechnology with minimum 1 year of research experience.
