Ensure the implementation of the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment strategy; ensure compliance with legal requirements as well as We Care requirements; ensure the implementation of the WCL Roadmap for the Safety and Environment Pillars; and report directly to the EHS Analyst, the business units, and stakeholders.
Understand, comply with, and enforce LAR’s non-manufacturing site policies.
Ensure compliance with the organization’s objectives and goals.
Understand the hazards and risks in your work environment, as well as the aspects and impacts involved in the processes, and comply with control measures.
Authority to report any safety, health, or environmental incident or condition within the plant.
Authority to report any incident that jeopardizes product quality.
Maintain the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment management system.
Use the management system documents in accordance with the requirements of the applicable process.
Make proper use of documentation in accordance with area-specific guidelines.
Adhere to best practices that enable the continuous improvement of our people’s knowledge, as well as that of our products and processes.
+2 years of experience in EHS (Safety, Health, and Environment)
Basic knowledge of EHS
Basic knowledge of Legal Requirements and Management System (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, OSHAS)
Industrial, Chemical or Environmental Engineer
English
STPS Certifications
Strong knowledge in management system for Industrial Safety, Environment and Health
Strong knowledge and application of Emergency Preparedness Response (brigadiers, training, campaigns, emergency plan, etc.)
Strong knowledge in Waste, Water, Chemicals and Electricity management
English spoken, written and hearing
