Job Description

You see the big picture, you’ve always worked on a grand scale, and now you’re ready to re-focus on grand impact.

This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.

In this role, you'll:

Deliver high‑quality, integrated dashboards and reporting that provide clear, timely and reliable insights into project, branch and divisional performance across Transport for NSW.

You will consolidate and analyse data from multiple systems and sources to produce accurate, actionable reporting aligned to established standards, targets and governance requirements.

Working closely with business and project teams, you will identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting relevance and automation, and support the design and uplift of reporting frameworks and tools.

You will provide analytical insights and evidence‑based recommendations to support planning, governance and performance reviews, while maintaining strong documentation and version control to ensure reporting integrity, traceability and repeatability.

You will also support stakeholders in understanding and using reports to inform performance discussions and decision‑making.

About you

You are an experienced reporting and analytics professional with strong capability in data integration, dashboard development and performance reporting within complex organisational or project environments. You bring advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

You are confident using business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms, and understand reporting frameworks, governance and performance monitoring requirements. You work collaboratively with stakeholders to design fit‑for‑purpose reporting solutions, manage competing priorities effectively, and continuously improve reporting practices.

To be successful in this role, you will hold appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrate equivalent relevant professional experience, and be motivated to enhance transparency, consistency and decision‑making through high‑quality reporting.
