We are hiring for one of our clients and are looking for an experienced Repair & Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance planning and technical operations within a complex industrial environment. In this role, you will work with maintenance engineering, equipment reliability, maintenance planning, and coordination of repair activities to ensure high availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and technical equipment. The role requires strong technical maintenance expertise, structured planning capabilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with production and engineering teams.
Plan and coordinate maintenance engineering activities
Coach and review the work of junior engineers and lower-level maintenance professionals
Support preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives
Review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications related to maintenance work
Evaluate equipment reliability, maintainability, and spare part availability
Coordinate repair work and maintenance activities with production schedules
Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment
Support statutory inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
Identify improvement opportunities to increase equipment availability and operational efficiency
Collaborate with engineering, production, suppliers, and maintenance teams
Contribute to maintenance planning, reporting, and process improvements
Experience within maintenance engineering and maintenance planning
Strong technical background within industrial maintenance environments
Experience working with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance processes
Ability to manage and coordinate maintenance-related activities independently
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Ability to work primarily on-site in Ludvika
