At HSBC, our purpose is opening up a world of opportunity and by joining our team, you can be part of something bigger. We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring careers at HSBC are inclusive and accessible.

Being part of HSBC in Luxembourg, you’ll help evolve and grow our private banking business. Do you have strong experience in Private or Commercial Banking, managing UHNW client relationships? Do you have a proven track record in acquiring new clients and growing AUM/NNM? Are you fluent in Italian and English?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

Reporting functionally to the Market Head Southern Europe and locally to the Desk Head EU International, you will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and pro-actively managing a profitable portfolio of Italian Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients for HSBC Private Bank in Luxembourg. You will work closely with other HSBC Global Private Banking entities and Group business lines to achieve overall growth targets, in line with the GPB Italian Market Strategy.

In this role, you will (but not limited to):

  • Achieve agreed personal financial targets by developing new relationships to grow revenue, increase portfolio AUM, and deliver against NNM and RoA targets.
  • Maintain and develop an active, dynamic pipeline, and proactively identify client solutions via referrals to other HSBC businesses.
  • Coordinate collaboration with Corporate Banking in Europe.
  • Individually, and in partnership with other team members, identify and pursue new business opportunities for existing and prospective clients, acting as an ambassador for the wider HSBC Group.
  • Maintain the highest standards of client service through regular meetings and portfolio reviews with Investment Counsellors and clients.
  • Partner with Product Specialists, Investment Counsellor and Credit Advisers to strengthen client relationships and enhance the product offering, increasing the overall share of wallet.

You should apply if you have:

  • Strong experience in Private or Commercial Banking.
  • A solid understanding of the Private Banking industry and investment product offering.
  • A strong hunter mindset, with a proven track record of business growth and new client acquisition.
  • Strong conduct standards and risk awareness.
  • A good understanding of MIFID regulation.
  • Fluency in English and Italian. French is an advantage.

Even if you feel you do not meet 100% of our qualifications, we encourage you to apply if you believe this role is right for you.

What you’ll get in return:
