Job vacancy: Senior Relationship Manager
As Senior Relationship Manager within the EAM & FI division, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Relationship Executives within a dedicated geographical cluster, while managing and growing a portfolio of international clients. You will be responsible for achieving targets, enhancing business value, managing risk in line with regulatory and compliance requirements, and supporting the Manager in communicating, driving, and implementing the cluster’s strategy.
In the role you will,
Establish, maintain and strengthen relationship with investment professionals and high net worth clients in a variety of markets and countries, while understanding and anticipating their evolving needs ,contributing in structuring the most appropriate financial/investment solutions for all the stakeholders in a bid to sustain business growth and manage the profitability of the portfolio;
Lead the team to data mine , grow their portfolio , achieve targets set and increase operational efficiency by continuously monitoring the level of productivity and performance and implement any corrective measures whenever necessary;
Work in close collaboration with local stakeholders, MCB overseas subsidiaries and representative offices to tap into new business opportunities and structuring of deals;
Assist in the preparation of the annual SBU strategic plan, budget and budget forecast for the SBU according to guidelines and submit for approval within deadlines to provide clear direction on portfolio;
Carry out a first level appraisal of prospective customers or deals and promptly gather all relevant information and documents required by the CA pool for processing or leverage on the relevant specialised team for a detailed analysis and to come forward with structured tailor made investment solution to suit client's need witihin the risk framework of the bank (mitigate risk for the Bank);
Be accountable for the quality of work submitted to prevent reworks and ensure customer satisfaction;
Manage credit portfolio in accordance with MCB credit policies and guidelines to mitigate financial risks;
Request and capitalise on analytics provided with by relevant teams to exploit potential business opportunities, prompt targeted solutions and improve customer service.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of:
EITHER
BSC Financial services/ Management or equivalent;
A minimum of 6 years of working experience in dealing with affluent customers or investment professionals or financial intermediaries, preferably in a financial institution.
OR
At least 10 years of working experience in dealing with affluent customers or investment professionals, preferably in a financial institution.
You will need to demonstrate the following:
Strong network within the local financial industry, particularly among Management Companies and EAMs, combined with solid business development skills.
Good knowledge of Bank’s products and services;
Familiar with wealth management products and services;
Excellent understanding of international economy and markets;
An advanced skill with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.);
Knowledge of Legal - Banking Regulatory Framework, Anti-Money Laundering/Fraud and Lending Procedures.
A combination of both qualifications & experience will be considered.
