The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible the overall management of a portfolio of commercial accounts having a broad range of complexity and value. They are a professional who understands the importance of building and nurturing relationships in the community and with Meridian Members. This position will manage a diverse portfolio and understand the unique needs of Members. As well, the Senior Relationship Manager will seek to grow the size and profitability of the commercial book while minimizing loan risk and maximizing product penetration and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the overall management and growth of a portfolio of accounts of mid-size and moderate complexity with diversified members and their lending needs. The size of the portfolio managed will depend on the number, type and complexity of the accounts in the portfolio and will involve the annual review of the risk and profitability of each member’s account; monitoring of problem accounts and development of plans to minimize risk. This position analyses financial statements, evaluates security, and establishes loan terms and interest rates. This position is also responsible, within established limits, for the analysis and recommendation of Commercial Credit Applications.

The successful candidate will have experience and expertise in managing medium to large real estate & Construction Financing, lending in Hospitality industry and General Industry (working capital financing). This person will be responsible to generate medium to large related credits within the Business Banking Centre.

Salary Range: CAD $ 79,100.00 to $118,700.00 annually.
Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
Office Location: BBC 600 - Barrie (592 Yonge St, Barrie, ON) This is a hybrid work opportunity.
