Auckland Councils Planning and Resource Consents department has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Support Officer. If you are passionate about improving processes, delivering excellent service, and playing a key role in the smooth running of council functions, this role could be your next step.
You will be instrumental in supporting our resource consent processing functions by monitoring workflows, guiding, and training staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and customer experience. This role is central to ensuring our systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, and in line with legislation.

He kōrero mōu: About you
This role requires experience in similar regulatory or administrative support roles, with a sound understanding of Local Government functions and the Resource Management Act. You are someone who thrives in a busy environment, maintains a strong eye for detail, and can lead by example in providing exceptional support services.
Your ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions will be key to helping the team maintain compliance and meet customer expectations. You are tech-savvy, adaptable, and a confident communicator with the ability to support others in achieving their best.
