Own and manage product testing and certification to meet regulatory standards
Lead, coordinate, and execute all activities related to agency approvals and compliance, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, and preparing schedules, reports, test procedures, and test plans
Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies, product safety and EMI/EMC bodies, as well as vendors and suppliers
Drive the creation, development, and ongoing maintenance of in-house test procedures, test plans, and compliance guidelines aligned with current and evolving regulatory standards
Review new product designs early in the development process to ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and lead or coordinate root cause analysis for any regulatory non-compliance issues
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and training
Experience with environmental compliance requirements for electrical and electronic equipment (e.g. EU WEEE, RoHS, REACH) is preferred
5–8 years of progressive experience in electronics design and development engineering, with exposure to testing, prediction, and assessment, including consumer product safety, EMI/EMC, and RF testing
Strong working knowledge of product certification and global market access requirements
Experience analysing test data and presenting findings to cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience obtaining certifications and regulatory approvals for consumer electronic products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
