The Regulatory Affairs Administrative Department is currently seeking a senior advisor who wants to contribute to a dynamic, evolving environment. The team’s mission is to support strategic decision-making by integrating regulatory considerations into business directions and representing Desjardins Group’s positions with regulators to help maintain a strong, efficient and competitive regulatory framework. You will provide cross-sector oversight on all activities involving regulators and inform the appropriate governing bodies about the latest developments, to promote greater consistency and alignment between the organizations and the regulators’ interests and expectations. As a senior regulatory affairs advisor reporting to the Director, Regulatory Affairs, you provide expert advice to the business sectors and support functions within your area of responsibility. You coordinate and support collaborators in their interactions with regulators, anticipate regulatory and prudential issues, as well as assess and manage organizational risks to ensure informed decision-making and the achievement of strategic objectives.
