SENIOR REGISTRY OFFICER

NSW CIVIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL (NCAT)

The New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) are recruiting to fill roles in the Guardianship Division of NCAT, Sydney CBD.

  • Sydney CBD
  • 1 x Ongoing role and 6 x Temporary roles (fulltime 35 HPW)

  • Generous leave entitlements including flex leave
  • Clerk Grade 3/4, base salary ($87,199 - $95,482), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

  • Assist clients to understand the Tribunal process, including encouraging the participation of persons with a disability
  • Provide information to clients face to face, by phone or in writing
  • List and prepare matters for hearing, write hearing reports for the Tribunal, prepare, and send documents to clients
  • Contact clients to determine how they will participate in Tribunal hearings
  • Comply with procedures and legislation relevant to the Tribunal

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is motivated, takes initiative and has strong customer service skills. You will:

  • Be interested in supporting people with disability
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Have experience working in a high-volume environment with set timeframes
  • Be able to manage your individual workload independently and efficiently
  • Have an ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Be willing to develop your skills and knowledge of legislation, legal principles, and procedures
