Senior Registrar
Senior Registrar
The Senior Registrar is a key member of the campus leadership team, reporting directly to the Campus President. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and security of student academic records while ensuring compliance with institutional, accreditation, state, and federal regulations.
The Senior Registrar oversees the daily operations of the Registrar's Office, supervises Registrar staff (as applicable), manages student scheduling and registration, supports reporting requirements, and serves as a resource during audits and accreditation reviews. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to students, faculty, and staff.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Evening and occasional Saturday hours may be required.
What You'll Do
Registrar Operations
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Registrar's Office.
- Supervise and support the Registrar/Assistant Registrar, including training and performance oversight.
- Develop and improve processes that ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant record management.
- Coordinate with campus departments to maintain consistent academic policies and procedures.
Student Records & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential student academic records.
- Ensure compliance with FERPA, accreditation standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of student files to ensure required documentation is complete.
- Respond promptly and accurately to requests for student records and academic information.
- Maintain official academic catalogs and related documents.
- Manage data entry and record maintenance within CampusVue.
- Process transfer credit information and evaluate graduation eligibility.
Registration & Scheduling
- Coordinate registration for new and returning students.
- Develop and manage the campus master schedule.
- Assist with enrollment projections and classroom planning.
- Support academic planning to ensure students remain on track for graduation.
Reporting & Academic Support
- Prepare reports for institutional leadership, regulatory agencies, and accrediting bodies.
- Compile and analyze enrollment, academic, and statistical reports.
- Monitor academic standing, including probation, Dean's List, and President's List.
- Assist with commencement, orientation, and other academic events.
- Provide administrative support to the Dean and Associate Dean as needed.
Leadership
- Deliver exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Participate in professional development and campus committees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Registrar or in a related administrative office environment.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of records management and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using CampusVue student information systems.
- Experience working in higher education, preferably in a career or technical college environment.

Work Environment
- Full-time, exempt position.
- Primarily office-based environment.
- Evening and occasional weekend hours may be required to support campus operations.
