Position: Senior Regional Program Manager – Security

Location: Onsite at client facility, Manhattan, NY

The Senior Regional Program Manager (SRPM) is the client’s primary Security Advisor and strategic partner, responsible for the overall security program across the assigned regional portfolio. This role owns the account strategy end-to-end, leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive security program that aligns Securitas and client objectives.

The SRPM drives program performance, profitability, and consistency across all locations, ensuring a scalable and sustainable security posture. A core focus is proactive risk management, identifying issues early, implementing forward-looking recommendations, and preventing recurrence through robust processes, standards, and controls.

Compensation and Benefits

Securitas offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. Based on experience, the starting salary range for this role is $150,000–$156,000, plus a full benefits program that includes:

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Regional Program Manager leads and/or directly completes tasks in the following areas:

  1. Client Relationship & Program Leadership
  • Serve as the key point of contact and trusted Security Advisor for the client.
  • Drive continuous improvement and evolution of the regional security program, ensuring alignment with client risk appetite and business priorities.
  1. P&L Ownership & Performance Management
  • Maintain full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the assigned account.
  • Analyze operational and financial indicators to optimize performance, efficiency, and value delivery.
  1. Executive Coordination & Service Quality
  • Coordinate account activity and regularly brief the Global Clients Americas (GCA) Vice President.
  • Implement programs and initiatives, monitor service quality, and initiate timely corrective actions where needed.
  1. Security Risk Reviews & Safety Programs
  • Lead and perform Security Risk Reviews of client facilities using industry best practices and client-specific assessment tools.
  • Implement and manage global safety programs; coordinate with the client to support special events, incidents, and emergency coverage.
  1. Branch Alignment & Customer Service Excellence
  • Ensure branches maintain a consistent focus on high-quality customer service and risk-aware operations.
  • Provide guidance to support retention and growth of profitable business.
  1. Staffing Strategy & Workforce Management
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels in collaboration with area management.
  • Oversee scheduling to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  • Build strong teams, foster collaboration, and lead the implementation of progressive changes.
  1. Governance, Transitions & Contract Compliance
  • Conduct regular account reviews with client and Securitas leadership.
  • Address actual and potential issues, support RFP responses, and lead security planning, assessments, and surveys.
  • Coordinate review and updates of global and local post orders; ensure contract compliance across the entire portfolio.
  1. Strategic Budgeting & Investment Planning
  • Partner with the client on strategic budget preparation for guard services and security system deployments.
  • Align investments with risk priorities and long-term program objectives.
  1. Global Security Strategy & Feasibility
  • Lead the client in evaluating global security needs and determining feasibility of requested services.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a complex, global business environment.
  1. Global Service Network & Best Practices
  • Develop and manage a global service network for client locations, building strong relationships with Securitas entities and alliance partners.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate global service delivery; develop and apply global best practices using the GCA model.
  1. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance working practices, products, and technologies.
  • Set clear goals, use data-driven analysis and decision-making, and take initiative to resolve current and potential problems with sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

To succeed in this Senior Regional Program Manager role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of management experience, preferably in security, hospitality, retail, or service industries.
  • Demonstrated competencies in financial management, leadership, and business administration.
  • Proven track record in strategic thinking, operational analysis, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex, multi-site projects.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Canada and the United States and manage sensitive, confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong security and business management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations, procedures, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Robust financial acumen, including P&L management.

  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure or unusual circumstances.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools; comfort working with dashboards and analytics.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and a client-centric mindset focused on partnership and long-term value.
