Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing and business development strategy and initiatives.
  • Support the region in all areas of marketing, including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website, and social media.
  • Support the marketing Director with the development and implementation of office, client group and service-specific marketing strategies, programs, and activities to support existing client retention, targeted pursuit plans and referral mapping.
  • Develop creative campaign briefs and support concept development phases, with support from the Marketing Director
  • Assist in reporting on set regional marketing budgets.
  • Gather and compile market research for planning purposes.
  • Maintain marketing materials including promotional items, brochures, and tradeshow equipment.
  • Support the marketing director with identifying key accounts where further value can be brought to the client, using account-based marketing approaches to engage with the client.
  • Measure, understand, and report on the impact of marketing activities.
  • Analyze reporting information and make recommendations to plans and programs as required.
  • Build profile and relationships in regional marketplace, including with local influencers, and community partnerships.
  • Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Business Development & Inside Sales Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the RMP and Partners to help develop and maintain priority account lists for the Toronto North market.
  • Provide administrative and research support to Client Service Teams in preparing annual account plans for key accounts.
  • Gather and analyze client information to support needs assessments across functions and divisions, helping identify potential service enhancement opportunities.
  • Prepare background materials and data to support Engagement Partners during discussions related to revenue opportunities and service proposals.
  • Assist Partners in identifying and tracking new contacts within existing accounts to support growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Teams to document service opportunities, enhancements, or upgrade recommendations.
  • Coordinate the execution of client development initiatives designed to strengthen relationships and support retention and growth.
  • Use available client data and reporting tools to surface potential expansion opportunities and share insights with Partners and Client Service Teams.
  • Support activation efforts and change management activities that promote a business development mindset across Markham and GTA Advisory teams.
  • Assist Partners with targeted outreach efforts for cross‑selling or account expansion, including preparing materials, tracking follow‑ups, and coordinating communications.

Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in in marketing, communications, project management, English, journalism or other related field
  • PMP certification is considered an asset
  • 3 to 4 years of marketing experience
  • Professional services industry experience, including corporate writing experience is considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of marketing processes, budgeting and project coordination is preferred
  • Strong presentation skills

The annual salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $85,000
