Senior Regional Coordination Officer - Multiple Roles

• Use your stakeholder engagement, negotiation and coordination skills to deliver complex regional outcomes in the Infrastructure and Regional Coordination branch
• Multiple temporary, Clerk Grade 9/10 ($133,348 - $146,945 per annum) opportunities up to 30 June 2028, based in Dubbo and Bourke.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work on complex challenges that directly affect young people, families and communities across Western NSW.

As our Senior Regional Coordination Officer, you will lead complex policy, project and coordination work to support the delivery of the Government's priorities across NSW. Working at the heart of government, you'll bring together agencies, Aboriginal organisations and community stakeholders to drive practical solutions and deliver meaningful outcomes across the region.

These roles focus on improving outcomes for young people engaged in the justice system across Western NSW. We are seeking applicants with experience or interest in areas such as youth justice initiatives, youth diversion, community development and contemporary challenges facing Aboriginal Australians. Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and facilitation skills are essential.

Based in the region, these roles require direct and regular on-the-ground engagement with stakeholders across Western NSW.

We're Looking For

Candidates may come from a range of backgrounds, including government, community services, Aboriginal affairs, youth justice, regional development, local government, policy, project management or related fields.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience developing, managing and delivering complex projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• An understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing regional communities, particularly across Western NSW.
• Experience working across organisations, agencies or sectors to achieve shared outcomes.
• An understanding of government processes and the ability to operate effectively in complex environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise advice, briefings and presentations.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships, bring people together and navigate differing priorities to achieve outcomes.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
