Basic Qualifications

Master's degree, plus 6 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a specialized area or equivalent relevant experience is required; plus, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance in a reasonable amount of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Join the dynamic SPRINT Next Team as a Senior Linux Systems Administrator specializing in Red Hat and PitBull technologies. PitBull is a highly secure operating system designed for environments that require strict security controls and data protection. We’re looking for a certified expert to drive Linux system administration and automation efforts, leveraging Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Red Hat Satellite, and AI tools to streamline processes. This position requires the ability to obtain a TOP Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum, making it a great opportunity for professionals looking to work on impactful, secure systems.

  • What You Bring to the Table:

    • Certification: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation (required).
    • Expertise: Advanced knowledge of RHEL 8, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, and scripting (Python, Bash).
    • Experience: 5+ years in enterprise Linux systems administration, automation, and AWS infrastructure.
    • AI Integration: Familiarity with using AI tools to create intelligent Ansible playbooks and enhance automation.
    • Security Clearance: A Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve complex issues efficiently.

A minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification with CE is required at time of hire: e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $132,930.00 - USD $143,835.00 /Yr.
