We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Recruiter to lead and scale our Permanent Search & Selection division in Italy. In this hybrid role, you will own the business development, delivery, and P&L management of the permanent recruitment line, acting as a strategic partner for local and international clients seeking middle to executive-level talent.

How you will make a difference:
📈 Business Development
Lead the commercial strategy for the Permanent division,
Drive acquisition of new clients through consultative sales, networking, and partnerships.
Promote cross-selling opportunities with Safeguard Global’s Employer of Record (EOR) and Staffing services.
🔍 Search & Delivery
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: client briefing, job profiling, direct search, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Use advanced sourcing techniques, talent mapping, and market intelligence to attract high-caliber professionals.
Ensure timely delivery and high-quality hiring experience for both clients and candidates.
👥 Team Leadership
Build, train, and lead a high-performing team of recruiters.
Coach and mentor team members to ensure goal alignment and continuous skill development.
Foster a culture of performance, inclusion, and accountability.
📊 P&L and Operations
Own the division’s budget, forecast, and gross margin targets.
Monitor KPIs such as fill rate, time-to-hire, client satisfaction, and placement retention.
Report on business performance to senior leadership monthly.
🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate closely with Marketing, Legal, and Global Delivery teams to ensure integrated client solutions.
Represent Safeguard Global in HR events, conferences, and roundtables as a thought leader.
What will give you an advantage:
Previous experience in permanent recruitment or executive search, ideally in a consultancy or agency environment
Proven track record in business development and placement of middle-senior to executive profiles
Solid knowledge of sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, CRM/ATS systems)
Experience managing or mentoring a team is a strong plus
Fluent in Italian and English (minimum B2+/C1 level); any additional European language is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field
