TheSenior Recruiter – Engineeringis an onsite position responsible for spearheading recruitment efforts for the department’s candidate pipeline and recruiting needs. This role will play a pivotal role in identifying, processing, and tracking candidates in support of Austal USA's Design and Engineering Team, as well as helping to manage our Designer Apprenticeship Program. Collaborating closely with teammates in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development —as well as industry partners—the Senior Recruiter will focus on sourcing top talent for development initiatives while driving external recruitment strategies to meet program needs effectively.

Works independently to deliver work products against aggressive deadlines. Escalates complex issues to Talent Acquisition Manager as appropriate.

Incumbent will be expected to work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude while navigating through ambiguous situations to meet goals and objectives. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
LIAISES WITH:
Employees and management at all levels across the entire organization as well as vendors, contractors, and consultants. Interfaces with Workforce Development Manager.

Ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures. Able to respond to verbal and audible sounds/commands. Able to utilize adequate visual skills.
