The Senior Recruiter for Core Services independently manages a larger and more complex book of business within the Core Recruitment Services team, owning full-cycle recruitment for two to three assigned business units including assignments with greater role complexity, higher volume variability, or more senior hiring authority relationships. This role operates with full autonomy, provides mentoring and peer coaching to Recruiter I team members, receives ongoing development from the Manager, and absorbs overflow portfolio assignments during surge periods.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Five (5) years of Human Resources experience with 3 of the 5 years specific to recruitment, including demonstrated success with leadership or executive-level positions.
Proven experience managing VP-level and above hiring authority relationships.
Strong sourcing skills, including passive candidate outreach and market mapping.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
Communicate with others verbally or in writing to provide or obtain information.
Ability to organize & prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and pay attention to details.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP or SPHR certification
Experience with Workday Recruiting.
Experience in healthcare, academic medical center, or higher education recruiting.
Familiarity with UAMS or University of Arkansas System HR policies.
Background in pipeline development and proactive sourcing for high-turnover roles.
Experience mentoring or peer-coaching junior team members
Familiarity with book-of-business portfolio management and business unit alignment
models.
Experience with surge coverage or cross-team portfolio support in a high-volume environment.
Knowledge, skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency with ATS platforms and standard recruiting tools.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands across a multi-unit portfolio.
Ability to build and maintain proactive relationships with hiring managers at the director and department head level.
Demonstrated pipeline development and proactive sourcing skills for high-turnover roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of EEO compliance and hiring documentation requirement
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Manages a full-cycle portfolio of assigned business units, owning all requisitions from intake through offer acceptance.
Conducts intake meetings, develops sourcing strategies, posts requisitions, screens and assesses candidates, coordinates interviews, and extends offers independently.
Builds and maintains talent pipelines for high-turnover and predictably recurring roles within the portfolio.
Maintains accurate and timely ATS documentation for all requisitions and candidate activity.
Identifies and escalates systemic hiring challenges or process gaps within assigned units to the Manager.
Builds and maintains strong, proactive relationships with Director-level and department head hiring authorities within assigned units.
Conducts regular pipeline reviews and proactive communication with hiring managers to anticipate needs and prevent vacancy gaps.
Represents Recruitment Services at job fairs, community outreach, and campus recruiting events as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned in support of the Office of Human Resources and institutional priorities, including support for broader Recruitment Services priorities and initiatives as directed by the Manager or Director.
