
Senior R&D Technician
We're excited to be recruiting for a Senior R&D Technician to join a growing team diagnostics company. This onsite, lab-based role is ideal for someone with hands-on ELISA experience, a solid understanding of analytical techniques, and a proactive mindset. You’ll contribute directly to the development and improvement of cutting-edge diagnostic products through experimental work and product validation.
About the Role
This is a lab-based position supporting multiple live R&D projects aimed at delivering new diagnostic products and enhancing existing ones. You'll be involved in experiment design, data interpretation, and cross-functional communication to drive the R&D process forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
Running and interpreting ELISA and other analytical techniques (e.g. SDS-PAGE, Western blot)
Recording, analysing, and drawing conclusions from experimental data
Calibrating lab equipment and maintaining critical R&D stock
Supporting quality control and production processes as needed
Participating in pilot studies and contributing to weekly R&D meetings
Assisting in the testing of product performance prior to production
Presenting findings across teams and stepping in for scientists when required
Designing and executing small-scale R&D projects independently
What We’re Looking For
BSc in a relevant scientific discipline
1–2 years’ hands-on experience with ELISA
Familiarity with analytical techniques and Microsoft Excel
Experience working in a regulated lab environment (e.g. GMP/GLP) is desirable
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced setting
Clear communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
