Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow technical trends of optical module package, propose innovative concepts of process, carry out the introduction according to CTQ and make reasonable technology roadmap.
• Drive and coordinate activities around package development with internal / external cross functional including package design and review, process review, sample build management, cost and capacity review.
• Carry out new package / process qualification, equipment / material introduction, preparing document including process flow, control plan, D/PFMEA, design guidelines, etc.
• Tracking new process development progress to insure phase delivery on schedule.
• Lead package-level failure analysis and improvement action; regularly reviewing failure case and maintain lesson learnt database.
• Responsible for new technical releasing and applying patents.
• In charge of new process platform and optimize the process development system.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor but prefers a master’s degree in material, mechanical, optical or related engineering.
• 2-3+ years experiences in process for semiconductors packaging (die attach / wire bonding / flip-chip / optical alignment), optics/photonics industry background would be a plus.

Skills

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving.
• Possess strong communication skills and enjoy working with cross-functional team members.
• Possess strong data analytical skills, including six-sigma and statistical analysis tool (JMP, Excel).
• Good knowledges in 3D CAD software included Solidworks, E-drawings will be a plus.
• Good knowledges in optics, included optics simulation software Zemax will be a greater advantage.
• Fast learners on technical knowledges and eagerly to solve problems with curiosity and willing to learn mindset.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite.
• ~30% business travel is expected.
