Pembina Pipeline’s Marketing Business Unit is actively hiring a Rail Strategic Planning Senior Specialist to join the team. Reporting to the Director, NGL Marketing, the Sr. Specialist plays a visible and strategic role in leading rail-focused initiatives, including fleet management, industry partnerships, and projects with rail components. As a trusted subject matter expert, the Specialist supports the development of long-term strategies and plans that create value for Pembina’s stakeholders. This role also builds strong, collaborative relationships across the organization and with key rail service providers.
Pembina’s Marketing Business Unit (MBU) drives value through the strategic buying, selling, and optimization of natural gas, NGLs (ethane, propane, butane), condensate, and crude oil, leveraging market intelligence and arbitrage opportunities across the value chain. By contracting capacity on Pembina-owned and third-party pipelines and utilizing the Company’s rail fleet and logistics capabilities, the MBU enhances market access and pricing for both Pembina and Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) producers, while also identifying and advancing commercial opportunities that support the growth and optimization of Pembina’s broader asset portfolio.
Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Fridays.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
