Job Duties

• Lead and manage commercial and quantity surveying activities for MEP packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and validate BOQs, cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and commercial reports to support project objectives.
• Oversee progress valuations, subcontractor payments, variation assessments, claims, and final accounts.
• Lead contract administration activities and provide commercial guidance on project risks, opportunities, and contractual matters.
• Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve competitive commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, BIM, and project teams to ensure effective cost and commercial management.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and commercial performance, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and support project leadership in commercial decision-making and risk management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial management within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and commercial management.
• Proven experience in managing progress claims, variations, subcontract administration, and final accounts.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, ELV, and specialist building services packages.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial risk management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to review drawings, specifications, and commercial documentation.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Thai.
