Job Description

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil and building works, with a focus on multi-storey buildings.

• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify and quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements.

• Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to gather pricing and cost information.

• Prepare and maintain accurate cost databases and cost models.

• Evaluate and compare quotations and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to project management.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives.

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in bid submissions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.

• Stay updated on industry trends and construction cost fluctuations.

• Collaborate with other departments to support project goals and objectives.

• Handle any other quantity surveying-related tasks as assigned.
