About the department:

  • Franklin Templeton’s valuation and pricing function ensures accurate asset valuation across global markets. The team includes valuation experts, Global Pricing teams, and senior stakeholders who collaborate closely to support investment decisions and regulatory requirements. Working here offers exposure to complex financial instruments, senior leadership interactions, and opportunities to build deep expertise in valuation and analytics.

How you will add value?

  • You will build and maintain fair valuation models across asset classes.

  • You will conduct research to validate and enhance valuation methodologies.

  • You will develop expertise in alternative investment structures and illiquid assets.

  • You will support pricing teams with complex securities valuation.

  • You will create validation models for quoted and hard-to-price securities.

  • You will support audits by explaining models and assumptions.

  • You will prepare reports for valuation committees and boards.

  • You will collaborate on analyses, reviews, and reporting initiatives.

  • You will evaluate third-party vendors and valuation practices.

  • You will engage stakeholders and participate in client discussions.

What will help you be successful in this role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or related field.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • CFA, FRM, or CAIA certification preferred.

  • 4–7 years of relevant industry experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments.

  • Experience with valuation models and quantitative techniques.

  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and market data platforms.

  • Understanding of derivatives, fixed income, and structured products.

  • Familiarity with valuation models such as Black-Scholes.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Confidence in presenting and defending valuation approaches.

Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
