About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end functional testing across web and/or enterprise applications
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using industry‑standard tools
• Actively communicate with Japanese clients to understand requirements, test scenarios, and defect resolution
• Translate test artifacts (test cases, defect reports, test plans) between Japanese and English
• Participate in test strategy, test planning, and execution
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts
• Ensure high test coverage, quality metrics, and on‑time delivery

Required Skills/Experience

• Japanese language proficiency – JLPT N2 or N1 (Mandatory)
• 4+ years of experience in  Functional & Automation Testing
•  Strong experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium (any one or more)
• Solid understanding of  STLC, SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
•  Experience in API testing (Postman/REST Assured preferred)
•  Defect tracking tools: JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Ability to lead discussions with Japanese clients confidently

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Japanese clients or projects
• Certification in ISTQB / Automation tools
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Experience in Banking / Automotive / Manufacturing / ERP domains
