FAA Certified Repair Station Quality Operations The Principal Quality Operations Specialist for the FAA Certified Repair Station is responsible for coordinating and validating all repair station work performed on Bell components to ensure compliance with Bell technical data, the Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM), Quality Management System requirements, and FAA regulations.This role oversees repair station documentation, revision control, training consistency, database accuracy, and formal audit compliance, including annual internal audits through the CASS system.The position serves as a key interface between internal Bell Repair Station Operations, the FAA Flight District Standards Office (FSDO) and Bell Management.The position reports to the Senior Manager Civil Certification and interfaces directly with the Bell Training Academy and Flight Research Center management and staff.What you’ll be doing as a Principal Quality Operations Specialist, FAA Certified Repair Station: Serve as the primary Quality liaison and point of contact for the Bell Fort Worth repair station, overseeing repair station capabilities and ensuring all work complies with the RSQM, Bell drawings/specifications, technical manuals, and FAA Part 145 requirements, as well as staying current on regulatory changes and their implementation.Own repair station documentation, records, and revision control by reviewing and validating incoming repair documentation (e.g., FAA Form 8130-3, teardown reports, inspections, test data, certifications, traceability), maintaining and revising the RSQM, Training Manual, and Forms Manual, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date capability listings, audits, documentation records, and personnel qualifications in the Repair Station Database and Roster.Administer and develop repair station training within Textron University, including creating, updating, assigning, and tracking training content related to procedures, documentation requirements, FAA regulations, RSQM updates, and Quality Operations processes, while ensuring all authorized personnel meet required training and certification standards.Provide Quality Operations support by furnishing technical guidance to area managers, supervisors, and inspectors on documentation and FAA compliance, and supporting Quality Ops, Engineering, and Supplier Quality investigations with repair station documentation, traceability records, and historical data.Lead and support audit and surveillance activities by conducting routine documentation audits and annual internal audits (CASS) of repair station work, capabilities, and personnel; ensuring compliance with RSQM, FAA, AS9100, recordkeeping and retention requirements; and validating effective, sustained RCCA for internal and external audit findings.Support external oversight and customer confidence by preparing documentation packages, revision histories, and findings summaries for formal repair station audits, FAA/EASA surveillance events, and customer compliance reviews.Drive cross-functional coordination by representing the repair station in reviews with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Procurement, and Aftermarket Services, providing updates on repair station performance, training compliance, audit results, RCCA effectiveness, regulatory risks, and supplying documentation trends, training data, audit findings, and RSQM revisions to support capability evaluations.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring To this Role:4-year bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, or similar field.At least 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Professional in the aerospace industry, including experience with FAA 14 CFR Part 21 and 145 regulations, familiarity with RSQM structure, AS9100 audits, CASS auditing systems, FAA oversight activities, and broader regulatory frameworks (FAA/EASA/AS9100/AS9110).Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, reports, procedures, and certifications; experience in detail and component manufacturing, metal and composite repairs, and component assembly; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on traceability and recordkeeping accuracy.Experience with SAP, Enovia, Power BI, 3DX, Catia 6, plus strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related applications.
