Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to join our 777 Quality Wings in Everett, Washington on 2nd Shift

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of employees and first-level managers across multiple Quality Management Job Families, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans, policies, and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and quality standards

  • Formulate and execute organizational and technical strategies that foster innovation and continuous improvement

  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to excel in their roles and contribute to a culture of quality

  • Acquire and manage resources effectively, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and enhance overall performance

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to ensure collaborative success

  • Inspire, develop, and motivate employees and first-level managers, fostering a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

  • 5+ years' experience leading and influencing people in a Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing organization

  • 5+ years' experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with executives, managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint)

  • 3+ years' experience leading, motivating, and developing others

  • Must be able to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Proven coaching and mentoring abilities

  • High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement

  • Solid business acumen with a track record of developing and executing successful strategies

  • Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process

  • Experience with the BPS system

  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner

  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures

  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation
