About the Role

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will help deliver and scale quality across Olo's loyalty integration initiatives. This role focuses on testing complex backend and API-driven workflows, supporting major product changes, and helping the team deliver high-priority work on tight timelines.

You'll work across integration, automation, and manual testing, partnering closely with QA and engineering teams in a distributed environment. This is a strong fit for someone who is proactive, self-sufficient, and comfortable using AI tools to improve speed and quality.

What You'll Do

• Drive quality across Olo and Spengo loyalty integration projects, including new product flows and platform changes.

• Design, build, and maintain automated test coverage for API, integration, and web-based workflows.

• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not yet practical or where deeper validation is needed.
• Validate complex system interactions and help ensure reliability across multiple connected platforms.

• Collaborate closely with distributed QA and engineering teams to move projects forward efficiently.

• Use AI tools to improve test development, productivity, and delivery velocity.

• Bring a hands-on, self-directed approach to testing, problem solving, and day-to-day execution.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation Development, or Software Testing
• 2+ years building and maintaining automated test frameworks from the ground up using C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright for Web application testing.
• Strong experience with API testing tools and frameworks (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
• Hands-on experience with AI testing platforms such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or similar intelligent testing solutions
• Proven track record of reducing test execution time and improving test reliability through automation and AI solutions
• Proficient in test data generation and QA environment maintenance leveraging AI where appropriate
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and automated test integrations
• Experience with containerisation and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure) for test environment management
• Experience in leveraging observability and monitoring tools to ensure continuous quality validation
