The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer - Integration to play a pivotal role in shaping the quality, reliability and performance of our integration ecosystem. This is a 12-month maximum-term contract opportunity

Working within our Cloud and Infrastructure Services team, you’ll lead the testing and quality engineering of critical integrations across cloud, SaaS and iPaaS platforms. You'll collaborate with developers, platform engineers and stakeholders to embed quality practices into every stage of delivery, helping us deliver secure, scalable and high-performing solutions.

This is an opportunity for a technology professional who thrives on solving complex integration challenges, driving automation, and influencing best practice across modern engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead integration, API and automation testing activities across enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Build and enhance automated test frameworks and continuous testing capabilities.
  • Validate integrations across SaaS, cloud and middleware platforms.
  • Work with modern API architectures, microservices and event-driven solutions.
  • Drive regression testing, defect management and quality assurance best practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve release quality and delivery speed.
  • Champion a quality-first mindset across agile and DevOps teams.

About You

You are a passionate quality engineering professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure complex integrations perform seamlessly. You bring strong technical expertise, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to influence quality outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience testing enterprise integration solutions, APIs and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Boomi or Tibco, with hands-on experience in at least one platform.
  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, including working with JSON and XML payloads.
  • Experience developing and executing automation testing and regression testing strategies.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation, troubleshooting and complex query execution.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as:
    • Postman
    • SoapUI / ReadyAPI
    • Playwright (desirable)
    • Karate API (desirable)
  • Experience validating integrations across cloud, SaaS and middleware environments.
  • Ability to analyse defects, identify root causes and drive quality improvements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with a focus on continuous delivery and continuous improvement.
