Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join us in the design and development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment.

You will drive the strategy and implementation of testing for web applications and APIs used by thousands of Investment Professionals to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions to their customers. You will model and encourage a quality mindset, establish new automation infrastructure, maintain existing automation, and create reusable tests artifacts to streamline testing processes and ensure quality.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of quality engineering experience with complex enterprise web applications and APIs, including test analysis, design, development, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of both QA Engineering and Software Development.
  • Experience using a Selenium / Serenity automation framework (Java based) is required. Playwright experience is also preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with professional software development skills and practices: Coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, design patterns, Object-Oriented Design and Development, Software design principles.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology using Scrum.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or other generative AI tools to increase efficiency and quality.
  • SQL and NoSQL database experience.
  • BDD experience or familiarity – Gherkin experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment.
  • Participate in understanding and refinement of User Stories, QA related tasks and test cases, functional automation, and product demos.
  • Log defects/issues and work with team members to ensure resolution.
  • Participate in production release deployment verification on a regular cadence.
  • Strong communications and problem-solving skills, and a strong team-player.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 34,000

Maximum Compensation: USD 120,000

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.

This position is not available for independent contractors
