At Watson-Marlow, quality is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a passionate and proactive Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Falmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving quality improvements across the business, working with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded into both new and existing processes.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our quality systems and continuous improvement activities. You'll:

  • Lead investigations into non-conformances, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Analyse quality data, identify trends, and use insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on PPAP (Product and Process Approval) activities and product/process validation.
  • Manage supplier corrective action requests and support supplier quality improvement activities.
  • Support customer requests, complaints, and audits, helping to maintain the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Use your expertise to positively influence change across a broad range of manufacturing processes and business functions.

Who you'll be working with

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll build strong relationships across the organisation.

You'll work closely with colleagues in:

  • Production and Manufacturing
  • Supply Chain
  • Design and Engineering
  • Quality Assurance
  • Supplier and Customer organisations

You'll engage with stakeholders at all levels, supporting onsite audits and driving a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.

Skills/Experience:

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for quality and continuous improvement. You'll bring:

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to investigation and improvement.
  • Experience using manufacturing quality tools such as SPC, Risk Analysis, 8D and CAPA.
  • The ability to influence, collaborate and build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
  • A passion for quality and a desire to make a measurable impact.
