As a Senior Software Quality Engineer (V)and a member of a dynamic and multi-functional Agile development team, you will be responsible for identifying real-world, user-centric scenarios and workflows and building & executing test automation to ensure their accuracy within our scientific and healthcare suite of products. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting, tracking, and testing issues discovered during design and development as well as coaching analysts who may possess less experience. To be successful in this role you need a real passion for quality software, dedication to customer happiness, and an ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. You will need a positive attitude, persistence, a love of problem solving, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels of a product development organization.

Essential Functions
· Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases using test management tools.
· Automate Web, Desktop, API, and database testing using industry-standard tools.
· Develop and maintain automated tests using TypeScript and .NET.
· Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
· Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive timely resolution and preventive actions.
· Perform database validation and write SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps.
· Use healthcare/scientific domain knowledge to ensure end-to-end workflow and user-experience coverage.
· Participate in Scrum ceremonies and client feedback sessions to align quality with delivery timelines.
· Document reproducible defects, expected versus actual results, and traceability to requirements and user stories.
· Apply risk-based testing to prioritize effort and optimize coverage within deadlines.
· Follow internal quality standards, track effort, and proactively raise impediments.
· Review technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Experience with Playwright for UI automation.
· Basic to intermediate .NET knowledge for automation scripting.
· Strong understanding of STLC and defect management.
· Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and techniques, including test generation, defect prediction, intelligent regression analysis, test-data generation, and anomaly detection.
· Strong time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good to Have (Preferred)
· Experience with UiPath for test and workflow automation.
· Healthcare domain experience, including awareness of HIPAA and common healthcare workflows.
· Basic to intermediate performance-testing knowledge, including workload modeling and baseline validation.

· Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, especially in AI and automation.

Experience & Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
· 5-11 years of experience in SDLC, testing methodologies, and quality assurance.
