Senior Quality Engineer
Role Purpose:
In this position, the Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for the professional management of (potential) product deviations, to perform internal audits and reviews (product & production processes) to ensure continuous improvement, avoidance of reoccurrences, reduction of rework and scrap rate.

To support collaboration within the area of responsibility and at interfaces
Fulfil QM global strategic goals:
Professional management of (potential) product deviations
Reduction of rework & scrap rate
Implementation of sustainable corrective actions and preventive measures
Role Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate (potential) product deviations
1. Risk assessment and prioritization of (potential) product deviations
2. Application of problem-solving methods
3. Moderation and delegation of work packages to subject matter expert
4. Consolidation of results and decision marking for immediate actions and corrective/ preventive measures
5. Escalation of complaints
Leading projects to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality
Conduct product and production process audits
Conduct reviews and releases for NPI and product transfers from different production locations
Application of improvements across all production areas
Traceability of product and production process
Manage and coordinate delivery, production and store locks as well as rework and scrap activities
Other tasks as assigned by manager
Role Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, Electronics, Industrial Engineering
Minimum 5 years direct quality working experience
Familiar with production processes applied for industrial sensors and process automation devices
Root cause analysis and problem solving methods
IPC Standards/ certification is of advantage
Process knowledge of SMT processes is of advantage
