Your Role

As a QA Test Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through a combination of automated and manual testing strategies. You will work closely with development and product teams to validate functionality, performance, and integration across systems, contributing to high-quality deliverables within fast-paced environments.

This role requires strong experience in test automation, performance testing, and cloud-based environments, along with a proactive approach to identifying improvements and ensuring testing best practices.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Perform automated functional, integration, and manual exploratory testing across applications and systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Execute and monitor performance testing using tools such as LoadRunner.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure timely defect resolution and maintain high-quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and automation frameworks.
• Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira to track test execution, defects, and progress.
• Integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Support testing in cloud environments (Azure) and ensure reliability of distributed systems.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and communicate risks clearly to stakeholders.

Technical Requirements (Practical Experience)

• LoadRunner (6+ years of experience)
• Azure Cloud (5+ years of experience)
• GitHub & GitHub Actions (5+ years of experience)
• Cucumber (5+ years of experience)
• Strong ability to write and maintain test scripts
• Azure DevOps / Jira (5+ years of experience)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ansible
• Knowledge of Jenkins
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture
