Position Type: Full TimeThe Titan International Specialty Division has an opening for a Senior Quality Engineer within the Aiken, SC Wheel Center of Excellence. This role will be responsible for leading and supporting quality initiatives, improving the Quality Management System (QMS), and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. The Senior Quality Engineer will also serve as a key liaison with customers, addressing quality concerns, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of site quality initiatives to improve performance and meet customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO standards and audit readiness.
- Serve as the primary liaison with customers on quality matters, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Train and mentor Quality Technicians and production employees on quality standards and best practices.
- Identify manufacturing and development constraints and collaborate with leadership to implement solutions.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to support organizational goals.

QualificationsRequired Knowledge and

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related) required.
- 5–7 years of experience in quality assurance required; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949:2016 preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques preferred.
- Six Sigma, Shainin, or other statistical problem-solving certification and/or experience preferred.
- Lead auditor certification preferred; ability to maintain and improve QMS compliance required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required; ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
