and Objective

As a Senior Quality Engineer integrated within our cloud engineering teams, you'll drive quality excellence across the full software development lifecycle, working as a technical contributor who shapes product reliability from requirements through deployment. This is not a traditional QA role - you're a collaborative partner alongside developers, ensuring scalable, secure backend systems meet customer security needs.

What You'll Do

  • Enhance and extend existing test automation frameworks for cloud services and APIs

  • Build and maintain sophisticated test environments and cloud infrastructure

  • Write automated tests for microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures

  • Debug complex integration issues across multi-service environments

  • Develop custom testing tools and adapt existing tools to suit the team's testing needs

  • Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing and quality gates

  • Author and review comprehensive test plans, identifying testing opportunities the development team may have missed

  • Partner with development teams from day one of feature development with a customer-focused mindset

  • Customer-focused approach to testing and quality validation

  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration across global time zones

What You Bring

Technical Expertise:

  • 4-8 years in quality engineering with experience integrated within development teams

  • Programming Skills: Python for test automation frameworks, with understanding of C#/.NET applications being tested

  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with Python testing frameworks ( pytest, unit test) for testing .NET applications

  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on AWS experience with infrastructure as code

  • API & Integration Testing: Experience validating REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems built on NET using Python automation

  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar automation platforms

  • Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and cloud security best practices
