Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Pre-Dispatch Inspection

  • Conduct final quality audits of finished goods at Outsourced Sites prior to dispatch to Avery Dennison, ensuring all products meet defined specifications and standards.

  • Implement and maintain Avery Dennison quality standards at outsourced partner facilities, ensuring consistent adherence across all production operations.

Process Improvement

  • Execute process audits at outsourced partner sites to identify gaps and inefficiencies, driving targeted improvements to enhance overall product quality.

  • Collaborate with production teams to recommend and implement best practices that support quality and operational efficiency.

Root Cause Analysis & Complaint Management

  • Perform structured root cause analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and quality non-conformances, implementing effective countermeasures to prevent recurrence.

  • Maintain documentation of complaints, investigations, and corrective actions in line with company standards.

Training & Capability Building

  • Design and deliver training programs for outsourced partner production and quality teams to ensure thorough understanding of and compliance with Avery Dennison quality requirements.

  • Support partner teams in building internal quality management capabilities over time.

General

  • Execute additional tasks and special assignments as directed by the Department Head, contributing to broader departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry or Chemistry.

  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on experience conducting process audits, quality inspections, and root cause analysis.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and standard QA tools and methodologies.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence cross-functional and external teams.
