As Senior Quality Assurance Expert you will be responsible for planning and executing the quality assurance functions on a nuclear project, providing direct interface with the Customer and assists in the training of the Customer’s personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the Project Quality Manager and the Project management team.
  • Represents Worley Quality team at internal & external meetings on the project.
  • Implements Worley Project procedures and processes.
  • Supports Customer’s Quality Organization in performing internal audits and audits of Project Contractors and Subcontractors.
  • Supports Customer’s Quality Organization in managing the nonconformances and corrective actions during project implementation.
  • Coordinates effectively with Project personnel.
  • Completes reports of work performed accurately and on time
  • Reports on project performance against the baseline plan.
  • Ensure participation in safety and hazard assessments.
  • Reviews and reports on process compliance.
  • Reviews and comments on QA programs and Quality plans, processes, and procedures prepared by the Contractors and their Subcontractors.
  • Reviews, comments, and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to QA systems and processes.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in quality assurance in nuclear power plant operation and nuclear construction projects, including experience in audits.
  • Valid qualification as an auditor is a plus.
  • Recognized as having a specialized depth or breadth of expertise.
  • Excellent report writing skills.

Special Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
  • Sound engineering background.
  • Prudent use of confidential information.
  • Organized and disciplined, with a capability to plan and schedule tasks and events
  • Ability to work and interact with multi-cultural teams.
