Job Description

Hanover, Germany | Hybrid

As a Senior Qualification Engineer, you will ensure that our consumer products (headphones, soundbars, etc.) meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they enter mass production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks early, define test strategies, and validate product and process readiness.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and execute qualification strategies across the full product development lifecycle
  • Develop and implement quality and validation plans for new products and variants
  • Identify risks and failure modes, and drive mitigation through design and process improvements
  • Lead and participate in FMEA and root cause analysis
  • Coordinate product and process qualification, including supplier and manufacturing validation
  • Work with external labs and internal teams to design and perform test concepts (incl. accelerated testing)
  • Analyze test results, prototype performance, and field feedback to ensure product reliability

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in product qualification / design quality (ideally consumer electronics or acoustics)
  • Strong understanding of product validation, risk analysis, and reliability testing
  • Degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or a related field
  • Ability to translate product concepts into effective test strategies
  • Fluent in English AND German
  • Experience with FMEA, statistical methods, and quality tools (e.g. Minitab, Six Sigma is a plus)
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
